Attorney Juliana Mojica earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science with a minor in Business Administration from Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles in 2004. She went on to attend New York Law School, receiving her Juris Doctorate with a concentration in Public Interest Law in 2011. During her time in New York City, she was named to the Dean’s List, served as a member of the Moot Court Association and an Associate of the Justice Action Center, and actively contributed as a board member of the Latino/a Law Student Association (LALSA) and various campus organizations—all while balancing multiple paid positions and legal internships.

Driven by a deep passion for service and helping others, Mrs. Mojica launched her legal journey during her final year of college by interning with the Victim Witness Assistance Unit at the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the District of Columbia. Throughout law school, she continued to build extensive practical experience across public service, civil litigation, and the business sector. Her positions included interning with Make the Road New York, the Civil Division of the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Eastern District of New York, and the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS), where she drafted Board of Immigration Appeals briefs for the Department of Homeland Security covering the Northeastern Region of the United States.

In her final year of law school, Mrs. Mojica gained invaluable perspective through a judicial internship with the Criminal Division of the State of New Jersey in Bergen County. Alongside her public sector involvement, throughout law school she worked with multiple private firms in New York and California, deliberately cultivating expertise in legal practice, business operations, and law firm management.

Following graduation, she served as a complaint analyst for the State Bar of California, handling public inquiries regarding attorney conduct and building a solid foundation in legal ethics. Over the first six years of her career, she practiced as an associate attorney at multiple private immigration firms, ultimately advancing to the role of Senior Associate.

At the end of 2018, Mrs. Mojica established her boutique practice, focusing on family-based immigration, VAWA, U visas, waivers, deportation defense, Board of Immigration Appeals (BIA), Ninth Circuit appeals, and citizenship. Recognizing an unmet need in the legal sector, she later integrated her commercial insight to broaden her practice to include real estate investment, with a particular emphasis on representing independent landlords.

Outside of her legal practice, Mrs. Mojica cherishes creating lasting memories with family and friends. She loves traveling, discovering new places, and exploring local dining spots. An avid reader and active book club member, she also enjoys binge-watching TV shows and is always ready with a great movie or series recommendation. As a dedicated wife, mother, daughter, and business owner, she deeply understands the daily journey of balancing multiple responsibilities, fully embracing life's beautiful imperfections and continuous personal growth.
